Cookie notice only what the site needs

Lose the Dent uses a small number of cookies that the site needs in order to work. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not use cookies to track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share information collected through cookies.
1. Cookies we set

These are strictly necessary cookies. The site does not work without them, so there is no banner asking you to accept them.
2. Browser storage
While you fill in a quote request, your answers are kept in your browser's session storage so that a refresh or the Back button does not lose them. They stay on your device until you submit the request or close the tab.
3. Third parties
- Maps. Map images are loaded from OpenStreetMap. OpenStreetMap receives your IP address when a map is shown, and sets no cookie through our site.
- Spam protection. Some forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It may set a cookie needed for that check.
- Google sign-in. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google sets its own cookies on its own pages.
We do not currently run an analytics service on the site. If we add one, it will be a privacy-friendly one that does not use advertising identifiers, and this notice will be updated first.
4. Your choices
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, signing in and sending a request will not work. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is no sale to opt out of; if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as a request not to sell or share.
